A Community Based Initiative to Conserve the Environment and Support Livelihoods

HEED Nepal is here to submit the 1rst quarter progress report on the project Improving livelihoods through Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) Production in partnership with TMI (The Mountain Institute) This Progress report has covers 1rst quarter financial report from July to October of project implementation with its expenditures till to the date of July to October 2014.

HEED has an agreement to Implement a year project in the entire Dhading and Gorkha District lies north west from Kathmandu takes 3 to 4 days walk from the nearest city or from the District head quarter of Both District. The program Endorsed in Dhading District for Tipling, Sertung, Lapa, Ri and Jharlang, dharkha and Baseri VDCS and two VDCs (Kasigaon and Manbu) of Gorkha District. The Neighboring villages like sattedevi has also able to take benefit throughout site visits including Kingtang village (VDC) of Nuwakot District.
